Core Areas of the Bank

Securities Trade and Sales will continue to be the center of the activities of the Raiffeisen Centrobank with focus on customer care for domestic and international institutional customers. The Raiffeisen Centrobank is one of the largest securities houses on the Austrian capital market and is a member of the Wiener Börse AG, Deutsche Börse AG, Borsa Italiana and the EUREX, EUWAX, SWX, BSE (Budapest Stock Exchange), WSE (Warsaw Stock Exchange) and Virt-X.

 

A global data and information network, a high degree of professional competency, and state of the art technical support assures that  Raiffeisen Centrobank’s customers receive professional services and consulting pertaining to their business and transactions with warrants, bond, certificates, guaranteed bonds, and other derivative products. The area of Company Research focuses on issuing analysis and primary sector analysis with a concentration on Austrian companies on the Vienna, Frankfurt, and Zurich stock exchanges. Additional Activities

Raiffeisen Centrobank’s activities are supplemented by a specialized Countertrade Department (industrial offset, counterpurchase and buy-back business).

 

Various subsidiaries – originally founded to support the countertrade activities – handle numerous products in the commodity sector. Among these commodities is natural and synthetic rubber, Revertex (evaporated natural latex) as well as natural and synthetic latex in Frankfurt, Singapore, and Virginia Beach as well as chemicals in Zug (Switzerland). These subsidiaries are operated by an independent holding company (Centrotrade Holding AG).
